The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has verified from interviews with several eyewitnesses and victims’ families that on June 18, 2022 at least 554 Amhara civilians were killed, an additional 40 were injured and hundreds more went missed when Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) militants attacked 10 villages in Tole Kebele (ward) of Gimbi Woreda (district) of West Wollega Zone in Ethiopia’s Oromia Region.
